  1. As someone who also works in a restaurant, I definitely understand this experience. My training day was Mother’s Day weekend, and I was basically left alone as well because everyone was running around trying to take orders and get out food. Your experience reminds me of mine, and I totally understand the pressures of trying to learn a new job!


  2. Similar to Ivy’s experience with her new job, I have had numerous experiences in which I have made mistakes during stressful times in dance class, school, and other places and felt very embarrassed by my actions.


  3. I love how you were able to multitask and work under pressure. I also liked how you made it a funny story and how you were able to bounce back and end up teaching a new worker.


  4. Starting a new job is always hard because you want to impress your bosses and coworkers, but you are not really sure what to do yet. I appreciated your honestly about accepting failure and embarrassment; this story reminds me of my first few days working.
