  1. It is incredible what we can learn from other people, especially children younger than us. This story about Nathaniel was so touching, and reminded me of what I have learned from unique kids.

  2. Noelle’s story created a sense of sensitivity and awe regarding the state and courage of the young boy Nathaniel, and her vivid description of forming a relationship with him shows the importance of befriending and accepting people of all kinds, even if they have differences to you or are thought of as different by others.

  3. The story is very touching, and I like how you talked about overcoming your assumptions you made about Nathaniel. The belief was very clear and you did not have to directly state it; it was implied through the story.

  4. This was one of the most interesting stories I’ve ever heard. I think it’s important to realize that we all have the potential to be happy, and that disabilities should not hold anyone back from their dreams.

  5. I loved how you told a story about someone else and how you viewed him in a different light compared to the other people around you. I also liked how you didn’t pity him or think less of him but saw him as the opposite.
